A sense of transitoriness regarding Zen sect of Buddhism lectured by Toshiyuki Namai
I'd like to start giving you the lecture here, regarding Zen sect of Buddhism.
Zen sect of Buddhism is one of the major sects of Buddhism domestically here in Japan.
In other words, Zen-shu gives you the essential direction to imagine and feel how to live well, how to live beautifully.
Especially, Buddhism is, I tell, very beautiful religion.
This is the very beautiful direction for you to be more beautiful here on this planet. Because there are a lot of severe teachings in it. There are a lot of severe disciplined teachings in it, principles, disciplines.
Rigidity is necessary for you to tune yourself in the presence of the beauty in order to live beautifully. To live beautifully, you need to understand the beauty in the definition of Buddhism. I say the definition of Buddhism.
Human life is transient.
What you see is what you got. There is nothing.
What you see is what you got. You see something now. That's everything.
Why? People imagine. There are so many things in the past. Actually, there are so many things in the past.
But the very reality of reality is what you are experiencing substantially now.
The reality, the utmost reality is what you see.
That's why what you see is the most important thing.
People live. Some people live in the past.
That's all right. That is all right. You are imagining reflecting some experiences or experiences other people experience in the past.
That is all right. Future, actually there is nothing in the future.
Why there is nothing in the future? Because the future has not been written yet.
It is not written yet. It is not made yet.
Who makes your future?
Privately speaking, you are making your future.
You are writing your scenario now for your future.
No one gives you anything. You are writing scenario.
You are making your future now.
So, I'd like you to breathe immaculately. Then, you have your beautiful future.
How you live immaculately now guides you to make immaculate future.
